marzo 2024 IC Day 2024 - Club Tennis Llafranc Ayer jueves 14 de marzo celebramos nuestro primer IC Day del año, esta vez en las magníficas instalaciones del Club Tennis Llafranc y con los miembros del ILTCE mayores de 70 y de 80 años. Ellos han sido siempre referentes tenísticos en nuestro país y hoy nos han dado otra lección de buen tenis y, sobretodo, de fairplay, camaradería y buen humor. Los jugadores, repartidos en cuatro grupos, llamados Manuel Orantes, Lis Arilla, Jaume Bartrolí y Andrés Gimeno, disputaron series de partidos de dobles a 4 juegos, resultando ganador el grupo Manuel Orantes y Montse Boter como MVP del torneo. A continuación se sirvió un excelente almuerzo en el restaurante del propio club. ¡Gracias a todos los jugadores por vuestra participación y al Club Tennis Llafranc por vuestro perfecto soporte y generosidad!! diciembre 2017 Janine Borotra sadly passes away It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Janine Borotra on the 27th November, at the age of 91. Like her late husband, Jean Borotra, she passed away during a Davis Cup weekend, as she was in Lille attending the final between France and Belgium. Janine was extremely dedicated to Jean's memory and was the remaining link in keeping alive his memory and the extraordinary achievements of the Four Musketeers. She particularly remained an extremely active member of the IC of France, attending many IC events and for many years was involved in the ICF Yearbook publication. In fact, as recently as last April, she was still hosting official IC dinners at the Domaine de Pouy, the Borotra’s family house in Arbonne. Her last wish was to lay beside Jean in the Pays Basque, which is where she now rests in peace. We extend our condolences to her family and friends and will ensure the Borotra legacy rightfully and respectfully remains.
