October 2018 IC Spain and Special Olympics continue collaboration IC Spain recently collaborated continued its collaboration with Special Olympics, organising a clinic that took place during the Games in Andorra and La Seu d’Urgell, from 4 – 7 October. The clinic was enjoyed by players participating in the Special Olympics tennis competition, saw participation from rising star and top Andorran junior Victoria Jiménez, and was supported by IC Spain Secretary Berta Tintoré. This marked the eleventh celebration of these Games, which are held every two to four years, and sees participation from 1,600 athletes with intellectual disabilities. Most of the participants are from Catalonia, with the exception of around 120, who come from as far afield as Belgium, Italy, Morocco and India.
